My 73 is a bench seat car. If I wanted to put buckets in it how hard is it? Do I need to drill holes for the two bolts by the transmission hump or are they already pre drilled.  Not a fan if bench seat

As you can see in the pic Shaun ... there is a brace plate welded to the floor on the hump side. Not sure if they put it in all cars, bench or not.
I don't believe the holes are there however.

I switched from bench to buckets in my 74. There are dimples in the floor where you need to drill. You can brace the floor if you want. My carpet was in so you need to remove the sill plates and peel it back. Drill the dimples and your set. I did purchase the flooring plates but have not instlled them yet. It's on my list.
