Hey guys.  As many of you know I've been searching for the last several months for another 4 speed 70.  Tanks to Troy and the rest if my Charger networking team I was able to seal the deal on this EB5 rt 440 4 speed Saturday. The recent owner purchased it in the late 80 from his coal miner coworker who purchased it off the Dodge dealership used car lot in '72.
Throughout the life of the second owner it didn't get driven much as he had a few other Chevys he enjoyed more. In their off time they enjoyed traveling to local dodge dealers and going thru their inventory where he found most of the parts used to refurbish this car from 89-91.  Tons of NOS parts Were used including marker lights, voltage regulator, resister, wiper motor, battery cables, arm rests, emblems, chrome tips, exhaust including mufflers, trunk mat, weather stripping, body bumpers, tune up kits,  Crazy.  All w part #tags on them still.
It needs a few things that I'll concentrate on over the winter like a header core, fuel leak back by the tank, vent windows need re chromed, the right rear is making a noise like an axle bearing, and a little paint work where the rockers meet the quarter panels.  I may even drop the k member and motor so I can detail the engine, send the manifolds out to get coated, and check out the front end components. In addition to that a set if disk brakes may be in order as we'll.  we'll see but wanted to share the new addition.  I finally managed to get my dad out of that A body in favor of this RT.  Woo hoo

I could have been a contender !!!

Well, it was a toss up between this car and a Top Banana Yellow '70 Challenger TA...... I thought I'd give the ole E-body world a try for once and if I did, the TA was going to be the one. Heck, if I end up not liking the TA, I could always use it to leverage a nice Charger, ehhh?

Congrad's Bill, the '70 couldn't have found a better home to lead a pampered life............ I would have been a close 2nd...  ;D
