Hey guys im a noobie here. Ive loved b body chargers since I was 5 years old and first saw the general lee. Today my pipe dream became reality and I am now the proud owner of a fairly solid 69' charger. I checked the vin an it comes up as a premium with a 318. Im guessing premium means base model. Its sat garaged for the last 4 years and has been owned by the same person for the last 20, I was told. It now has a 66' 440 block with 906 heads that was rebuilt by a local speed shop 4 or 5 years ago. Im told it has less then 5000 miles on it. It has a column shift 727 auto trans that they reversed the valve body on and a 8 ¾ rear end. Im not sure what the gearing is. It has minor rot in the trunk and under the drivers seat. Everything else appears solid or has been replaced.

Nice, chin spoiler. And you have a lift. That will help big time. I know my does. Keep the pics comin. And good luck. Don't forget to ask those questions. And someone can help really decode your car if it still has the fender tag.

yes it still has the fender tag but its super hard to read. and yes im starting to ask questions all over the board, so i should probably apologise up front for being a pain in the ass with alot of questions

lukedukem

You don't have to apologize on here. You are now part of this great community. You will be able to get help no matter the time. You'll even get help without asking for it sometimes. Lol.

So what is the plan for your car?

I didn't get any virgins, either. Perhaps Tufcat got to them first?  :icon_smile_wink:   :D

Could that front spoiler be the mythical Direct Connection piece that was being discussed recently?

are the dimensions the same on the 71-74 as the 69? the spoiler fits perfect. i cant find any mods to it.
