after 10 months of waiting on a block from mopar performance for my 1968 charger i finally got some answers. i ordered it in january with multiple eta's none of which were obviously true. but i finally started kicking stones and found out they did not even have a vender to produce the engine blocks till june and that the company producing them where "tooling" up so in the next 3 or so months ( after a year of waiting ) we might be seeing our blocks being shipped.

Third Generation "Hemi" is that modern thing that came in my 2011 pickup truck... :scratchchin:

So, Which kind of block are you trying to get ?  :shruggy:

A 3rd-gen Hemi block that can be built to displace 426 cubic inches, yes.  It's still entirely the modern motor aside from the displacement.  I've heard of those motors going as high as 440" when bored & stroked out to the ragged edge.

If you really want one, I'd go here.  http://www.shophemi.com/m-12-arrington-performance.aspx  be it a 5.7, 6.1 or 392 based, options include the 392, 410, 426 and a 440.  Wouldn't mind putting one of those in my own, especially after driving the 5.7 for 4 years now.
69 RT/SE Y3 cream yellow w/tan vinyl top and black r/t stripe. non matching 440/375, 3:23, Column shift auto w/buddy seat, tan interior, am/fm w/fr to back fade, Now wears 17" magnum 500 rims and Nitto tires. Fresh repaint, new interior, new wheels and tires.
