Saw a transporter of Hellcats (sadly no pics)

I live near a freeway that is a major run from the factory to the Detroit border and I get used to seeing haulers with Chargers and Challengers all the time but I saw one today go by with Hellcats on it.
They're on their way folks.

Are the hoods painted on the cars or removed before painting??
I have the satin hood option on my order.
I didn't realize they would send them out for paint figured it was just a clear coat over blk primer?

Marc between hauling cars every night and playing with my Chargers on the weekend doesn't leave me much time for the internet
They must get a really good going-over at the dealership because they sounded like they were running on 5 cylinders when I delivered them. The screen in the dash said black key transport mode, there really de-tuned. They have quite an exhaust on them, I was suprised how loud they were

They are all going to a auction yard in Michigan for storage untill the release date.

That seems weird. Everyone of those are either a sold car or could be sold at the dealership instantly. You'd think that they would want to sell them & get paid.

It's my understanding Dodge wants them to be released all at once to give them presence on the streets.
All Kijiji , auto trader ads for the car say it will be on the ground. On oct 22, I'm assuming tomorrow is the day they will start shipping to dealers....

Soooooo many rumours with this car it's ridiculous !! The latest rumour and reason why the hold is the drivers side rear window blows out at high speeds.... Who knows whats true??

After 3 months of waiting I have nothing more than a VON and a handshake for my 34k deposit. And only 6 more months till spring when I may or may not receive a car.... A phone call from Dodge to say congrats on getting in line for a Hellcat would be nice!

The allocation process is turning out to be a joke IMHO

What if the dealer you have a deposit with doesn't sell enough cars in the previous 90 days to get a allocated car?? You're deposit gets returned?

The normal order process for any car is about 8 weeks. I've had my deposit in for 2 1/2 months and the order was officially placed 6 weeks ago & I too have nothing but an order. I don't understand why they aren't getting these orders processed and giving people an estimated ship date. I was hoping that it would come in some time in November, but if another month goes by with no answers, I may just pull my order and buy one off the lot in the Spring.
