3 Spoke Woodgrain Steering Wheel - horn pad color??

Ok, so I have a 70 R/T that still sports some of the 1980s mods made by the previous owner, including an aftermarket chrome steering wheel that actually doesn't look too bad.  Still, I am replacing it with an original OEM 1970 three spoke woodgrain steering wheel.  My question is should the horn pad be the standard black, or should the horn pad match the color of the car's interior (burnt orange)?  Which would be factory correct?  Leave the pad black or dye to burnt orange?  Thanks!

Burnt orange

Here's a thread in the 70 Registry with burnt orange interior for reference http://www.1970chargerregistry.com/mboard/index.php?topic=1512.0

with the availibility of the 2 tone interiors ,,, a general rule of thunb is the horn button should match the color of the steering column,,, not neccasarily the interior / seat color

Are there any instances of it being different than the steering column color?
