This car is pretty solid from what seen other than the back as you can see in the photo.  The trunk extensions are a bit bouncy as well.

This is not the original motor in the car and I couldn't get the year of the motor.  Radiator is correct and it has a Dana in.

I do not know what the toggle is on the steering column and there is s toggle under the dash that I'm unsure on as well.

Owner wasn't present when I looked at the car.

Is it a real R/T and factory sublime FJ5 car ?
They only made 394 (4.2%) in that colour (my car is one of them)
How many were 4 spd and how many se ??
Not many

As long as all the frame work is good $15K plus

I thought I was reading a thread about how these green cars are a bit rare

Looks like a solid and mostly complete car.  Excellent candidate for a resto.  Factory sublime, 4spd, non AC, good stuff.  I am curious to know what the owner wants for it.

How did you come across it ?
Is he trying to sell it or did someone just tell you about it ?

Look at the frame work under the car and if it is all good offer him $8 K and see what he says
He will know you are serious and either say yes or I want $XX amount then you will know

You can always go up if you have it to spend

My brother came across it and wondered what I thought.  Initially I told him that I can see that car being ~15K... I don't know enough about 2nd gens and wondered if I may have pushed it a bit high... but according to the responces I've seen it seems to be in line.

I'll see what he has to say on it.

Looks like it should have a Dana with 410 gears in it if it is still factory

I'd love to own this car but I have a black rallye to focus on ... and getting started on my Dart after 3 years.

Was this always going to auction as far as the estate is concerned?

Well, I don't know the details of the auction itself.  I had assumed it was part of the farm itself.
I only knew about the auction for about a week when my brother mentioned it to me, and never really viewed it until maybe 3 days ago when he wanted me to go along with him to veiw it.

Actually it may have been on-line for over 2 weeks.  Not really sure.

Are you bidding?

With the commission fee of 10% and it already being at 11,600 I brother decided it was more hassle than what it was worth

I'll be curious to see what it ends up going for

This one was posted on Moparts last week. Super cool project car for sure. When the auction is over I'd be curious to what it went for.

I've been monitoring since Friday. Haven't bid but wow is it ever tempting. Towards the upper limit of what I'd be comfortable paying for it.

Ha. Yeah. My brother had high bid for about 5 minutes at 11200

I think this might get over priced before it's over

The nice thing was.  It was only 20 minutes away
