I've been searching for a 3/8 drive right angle adapter or extension. Boy are the choices limited. Years ago I bought an old "Proto" that looked like a 3/8 ratchet but you could stick a ratchet into the end of the handle and what looked like the ratchet end was a gear drive. It made changing the hard to reach plugs on a big block a walk in the park from topside. I used it until one day I pushed it past it's limit and it popped, never to work again.
There are "Flex-A-Drives", kinda bendy cable drives in a steel sleeve:

But that won't give the control of a hard 90* turn then I found "Tight Reach" extensions a kinda flat bar that may work:

The closest was Harbor Freight's ratchet but you can't put another ratchet on the handle end and the ratchet end is rather large, plus well....it's Harbor Freight:

Then there is this thing that CalVan has, with crappy reviews this do dad is doomed by design to fail but looks cool:

If any have used these or know of some other options let me know. I just bought a right angle for my screw gun they are fairly common. I tend to value my oddball tools much higher, like my upper column housing removal tool, I may only use it one more time but boy when you do it's worth it.  Got any weird/hard to find or rare tools? Share them here!

I bought a couple of sets of thumbwheel ratchets at Sears just last year. As far as the spark plug debacle, I use universal joint adapters on my Blackhawk twist handle ratchet. I absolutely love the Blackhawk twist handle pieces. They work like a dream when you need that capability.

Hey, I googled that ratchet. If the head was smaller and the handle longer and about the diameter of a Magic Marker with a receiver for 3/8th drive on the end it would be what I had!  :2thumbs: I like it and will at least get one of them. Thanks!
Thanks for the other inputs guys! The removing/installing plugs was just an example of where this type of tool was very useful. (Before my engine rebuild I use to pull the plugs for cleaning quite a bit, it's all good now.) I found many other times where getting in or out something quickly the right angle was real handy when you knew you had it.
I'm thinking with the Blackhawk and the Tite-Reach in my box I'll be in good shape.  :scratchchin:

Cut the handle off and weld a 3/8" extension bar in it's place. Seriously though, I bought that ratchet when I had to change the PS pump on my 4.0l Cherokee. What a pain to get to that slack adjuster bolt! That tool was just what the doctor ordered. It is awkward to use as a general purpose ratchet but man, when you need it, you praise Jesus that it exists! The drive gear is very fine, it doesn't need to swing far at all to advance a few clicks.

P.S. You're very welcome! Happy wrenching!
