I know that parts are identified by a part number that is stamped on part.  I notice that some people here identify parts by using the correct part numbers.  Is there a book or literature to help guide someone like me that is restoring parts and to make sure that im installing the correct parts?  Also for ordering purposed.

In reality, the number on the part is rarely the part number. If you compare the number on the part to the number in the Mopar Parts Catalog they're usually one or two digits different.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
