Jim at Detroit Muscle Technology  (DMT) is getting ready to reproduce the flat rubber shields that seal the body to the inner fender. (Like I posted about for my 70 Charger.) He has two examples for Superbird but mentioned to me they are not in very good condition. He'd like a third to compare with if anyone can provide to loan. He also wants to do Daytona shields and is very interested in any information and examples of correct parts.
I told him how helpful our group has been and offered to post this to assist in the development of parts for these historic cars. If you have or see a need for other similar type parts don't hesitate to contact him. If you can help with the items mentioned please contact him directly.
I can say he is very interested in getting things correct, he retooled off the sample I sent him for the 70 Charger when I found a small issue. He immediately refunded my money AND sent new replacements for free when all I asked for was a hunk of the same rubber to make a patch.  :2thumbs:  (I was lucky I had one still intact.)
