What adhesive works well to reinstall emblems? My car has old paint, so a slick surface isn't a problem sorry to say.

3M emblem or moulding tape.  Auto Zone, Advance, they all have it and you won't have to spend $35 on a roll from the auto paint supply place. Comes in various widths.
