Just wondering if any body knows the differance between the 2

Does the 3 spd go faster than the 2 spd ?

Is second gear in the 3 spd the same as high in the 2 spd ?

Just wondering as my car has the 2 spd in it now and is it worth changing to the 3 spd

yes, as far I could notice, one speed faster, but the second one maybe is a little bit slower... so I could say maybe the faster on the 2 speeds is somewehere in the middle of the 2nd and 3rd of the 3 speeds.

don't take my answer as a definitelly one, is just about what I have experienced when I made the change

To be honest, I have a 3 speed wiper motor in my 69... I cannot tell a difference if its on low, med, or high. They all seem about the same to me.

Lol.  I have the two speed and my wipers function like this: speed one is so slow the blades chatter across the windshield.  Speed 2 is a good pace.  I can't imagine what another setting would bring you...

I can't answer all your questions sublime but my 3 spd definitely has three different speeds.  How the 2nd speed setting compares to high on a 2 spd motor I don't know.  If I get a chance to compare it with a car that has two, I'll let you know.

I can talk because I made the change from 2 to 3 speeds. Definitelly the 3rd is faster, but I can't tell if the 2nd speed is the same of the faster of the 2 speeds. I'd say is a little bit slower and, as I told, the faster of the 2 speed is somewhere in the middle of 2nd and 3rd of the 3 speeds motor.

Although I have a 3 speeds switch around, installed at the end a variable speed switch anyway ( 3rd gen option just on 71s ).
