Both of mine work fine.  I use the washer button for Dixie

How did u install it (wire)....any pics?

Matthan

Ireally wanted to wire it though my exsisting horn

You will want it seperate from the stock horn.  i used the washer button , mounted my relay the facinty of the stock horn and the dixie horn gets mounted on the rad support.  it makes it easy to wire.

basically you are using the washer wire as your tigger wire for the horn.  you will also need a constant 12v source as well but having some wire laid already helps

why not to use a selector switch under the dash to be able to use the original horn button? Just an Idea

double on, two positions, single pole.

Or maybe a push big push button located at a side of the floor headligths dimmer switch

I put one into a friends Coronet, the compressor draws 20 Amps, so either way you will need upgraded wiring a.d relays for it. You can use your existing horn relay in the engine bay as the trigger for the new upgraded relay with the appropriate wiring and fuse installed.

i used 8 ga wire for my 12v source for the relay and use the washer button as a tigger, also hides the button from unwanted use.  the horn kit comes with the relay you just need better wiring depending on how long the run of wire is

actually the stock relay can handle the load for the air kind horns
