Whats the current favorite for scattershields?

I know it was Lakewood for so long but I've been told there are a couple of new companies out there now making SFI approved bellhousings that are lighter than the Lakewood?

Only other one I know of is Quick Time and they were bought out by Lakewood.

Quicktime is one of the others I had heard of.  Didn't know they were bought out though.

I bought my carbon one thru summit and it's SFI, can't remember who the manufacturer is thou sorry. My father runs the same one on his 950hp car. Cheap insurance for something that could save your skin

Scatter "shields" aren't the same as bellhousings.

Semantics in this case.  While technically wrong I think what I was inquiring about by common nickname was still understood.

 Maybe we should just here from those who it's had to do its intended purpose, not just being in place
Lakewood gets my vote  3 uses and still in good shape ,

Quicktime got bought out and then their prices jumped about $200 per unit.
