Can you remove the power window motor from the door without having to remove the entire regulator?

Motor works, but I'm sure the grease inside is like a rock. It is really slow.

Anyway, winter project, will it come out seperately?

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I'm not sure about this but if you lock the regulator arm in place it should work (if you can access the bolts). Just drill a hole through the regulator arm and the regulator plate (where the motor attaches to) and put a metal pin through both holes so that the arm can't move. Then unbolt the motor.

Its was i while since i did mine. With the window up i am pretty sure the spring is unloaded.

That's the way to go. Even if the spring still has tension it doesn't matter as the window will prevent the arm from moving as it rests in the weatherstripping.

you can't get to the motor bolts, they are in-between the door & regulator, must be removed. Once out, you must clamp regulator in vise to stop arm from taking your fingers off when you remove motor

Yes, be very careful with the spring in the regulator or you will be missing some digits.

Here is my window motor rebuild

You can if you drill a small hole in the door frame opposite each motor bolt. Its a lot easier to do it this way than taking the whole lot out.
