Man, I'm outside messing with the 2 '70's I have and it's great therapy....

I installed the Bendix Booster I have onto the '70 and replaced a bad upper door belt moulding with a good one.. It's sometimes the little things that are the most fun..

Has anyone bought, either through FineLines or InLine Tubing, the master cylinder lines from the master cylinder to the proportioning valve?

Hey Troy,

I am in my hotel room in Detroit, MI as I type this and I will be picking them up shortly.  I actually ordered the 8 piece kit (complete) from Inline Tube as my '69 is a disc brake car.  Since my car has had a number of incorrect surprises I have found since I started to dismantle it I am going by what I have seen on some other cars, most notably the '69 I found in a salvage yard that had a master cylinder (correct Bendix casting # with ports on the engine side), saftey tee / switch and proportioning valve still attached.  See the photo below.

I will take some pics when I get a chance.

The '69s are going to be different than '70's I believe..  69s don't have the dual setup........

hemi68, when you say "dual" are you referring to the tee and prop valve?

That picture is exactly what I found on my 69. (The rust looks exactly the same, too....  :icon_smile_shy: )

Ghoste

That picture is also the same as the setup on my 67.

Does any of the 70 guys out there know where the black plastic clip on shield goes on the brake line?  Somewhere near the proportioning valve.  Thanks in advance. :shruggy:

Here's a link to my front end build.  Its on page three near the bottom if the link doesn't take you there.  Unfortunately I didn't know better when I turned my Bendex core in when I got this one that they were hard to come by.  I bought all the front lines (SS) and new valves.  I'm having a hard time getting one of them to seal on the p-valve
