Toni

Thanks to everyone :icon_smile_big:

I got the charger home now :2thumbs: only doors and hood are at painter.

Here are better picture with those convo pro rims

And i started rebuild the carburetor

it is almost ready, only fuel level adjust.  I think that i try to adjust it on the table just with the bottle of gas and hose. I lift bottle up and gas flow down :shruggy:
What do you think, would it work?

Looking very nice Toni! Hang the just fuel bowl upside down and adjust while that way. The float will be very close to correct position.

Toni

Hello again :icon_smile_big:

I add little more noise insulation

i get valve lash checked too

I have edelbrock aluminum heads and there was intake 0.017 inch and exhaust 0.023 inch, and those are measured at cold. What do you think are those OK?

Autosol polishing pasta is great :coolgleamA:

I change new fuel pump because old started to leak. It seems it was almost new, If you look the arm of the picture.

Toni

Hello. :2thumbs:

Today was a great day.  My charger is now registered and checked. They give me a clear papers :coolgleamA:

Only one thing they wonder at inspection,  the rear disk brakes are not as powerful as they want.  And i think that the brake booster can have little more boost :rotz:

Can someone suggest me that what is a good brake booster to my fourwheel disk brakes. can i easily install hydrobooster? without changing the power steering pump?.

did you use a master cylinder for a rear disc brakes? a stock one wont work since its designed for rear drums? discs need more pressure, a proportioning valve can help, but thats more work than a master cylinder swap  :shruggy:

Toni

Thanks for the answer.

I will take a picture of my master cylinder if you can tell if it is for drums. :scratchchin:

And the second thing is that i think valves are too noisy.  Or it  is that normal when i drive 50mph only disturbing noise is from the engine and i think that can be too much valve lash.

only trouble is that i dont know what kind of cam i have. There are edelbrock rpm heads, comp cams roller rockers and the lash are 0,017 intake and 0,023 exhaust. Measured at cold.

What do you guys think? can i set little tighter lash, or do i set intake and ext to same lash?
