The lead bead at the gas pedal end of the accelerator cable popped off today and I am looking for a good fix.  I could try to feed it through and block it off some other way.  I am wondering, however, if there is an effective replacement cable (this one was not the original one) that works well, will last and is not too expensive.  Also, can someone tell me what the dimensions of the cable for a 383?

Thanks

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

After a friend of mine broke one on the way back from Carlisle one year, I found a couple used and keep in extra in the trunk now.
Without that you're going nowhere!!
