I just bought a set and was wondering if I can install the 1.25" breather into where the oil cap goes. The reason why I am asking is because the hole has tabs so the oil cap locks down and if I install the breather I don't want oil to come out do to not fulling seating 360 deg.

I have one of these.

It fits very tightly and I've had no leaks. It is so tight, you might have to bend the tabs slightly to get it started.

GPULLER

I have the Mopar version of the twist on.

I have the Mopar version of the twist on, used in the oil fill on passenger V/C.  No leaks, very nice.

Thanks guys. I just went ahead and order the twist on that you guys recommend. I don't think the push on would of sealed.

I bought That K&N 62-1490 - K&N Crankcase Filters.
At the machine shop, he milled the hole, that can be broken out, to the right size.  Then he had to mill the wall thickness, of the valve cover, so the push-in filter/breather would snap into place.
The twist-on that goes into one of the oil filler caps is the much simpler choice.

The machinist modified one of the valve covers for the PCV valve grommet, so he also did the other.  This gives me an option because there still are 2 oil filler caps.
