The Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, on the Chrysler campus, will re-open for one day to support the Chrysler Employee Motorsport Association's (CEMA) 25th annual car show, which will once again be held in the Museum's capacious parking lot.

Chrysler itself is bringing a 2015 Dodge Charger R/T, SubLime R/T Shaker, Billet Scat Pack Shaker, Viper, Durango R/T, and — an SRT Hellcat Challenger.

John Wehrly, Ramchargers member and retired engineering manager of Dodge Motorsports and Mopar Performance, will give a special hour-long presentation on the early years of the famed 426 Hemi, in honor of its 50th anniversary.

The weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and a high temperature of 80 degrees. 279 vehicles are pre-registeredfor the June 7 show.

Local and national car clubs are invited to participate in the show; all makes of vehicles are welcome. The first 200 paid registrations will get a goody bag and dash plaque; there will be food vendors on site, and a DJ for tunes and announcements. The show is open 9 am to 4 pm, rain or shine, on June 7, 2014; for details, see CEMA's web site.

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

That would be a great show to attend.  I'm already committed to another show near here or I'd be going even if only for the presentation.

TUFCAT

I'm going but leaving the Coronet at home, cuz I have some other stuff to do.

The guy that drove the car reved it up quite a few times before leaving. It sounded incredible! I may have to look into one of those! There was another red Hellcat that was on the porch of the museum...

Something more better than just an aluminum box.  At least Chevrolet put a partial cover on their LSA engine similar to the Buick "Star Wars" air cleaner and Ford put on some traditional blue valve covers on their 5.8 engine.  Dodge could have at least embossed the Hellcat logo into the top of the supercharger, painted their engine covers a different color, or just add an accent color to them like they did with the Viper engine.

Sorry, but an engine has to impress me twice: once when I open the hood to show my buddies, and also when I push the throttle. :drive:  This Hellcat covers one area, but it's not an engine that I'd retrofit into my Charger or make an art piece out of in the living room AS IS.  No cool factor like a 426 Hemi or a 6 pack engine.

I'd still drive it though :D

Ghoste

Fair enough.  I like it as is so thats why I asked.
