been trying to adjust the bumper so it lines up with the fenders, passenger side fender is max out, driver still has some room but not much. just wondering how to align bumper to each fender. before restoration, bumper was stuck on the car as I remember I had to pull off with force, and it was aligned just fine with no gaps on the hood. I know things change after time but any thoughts?

Huh ?

we have moved it left and right up down, just the bumper and the fenders to last night, I was just thinking maybe just have some of the bumper over hang on both sides of the fenders. instead of one side align and the other side way the f out there.

You may have to pop off the whole assembly and oval out the holes in the brackets for the bumper bolts a little to buy a little adjustment. There's not a lot of left-right wiggle room with that setup.

actually did that the other day, holes were only an inch now the driver side holes are one inch and 3/8's, just little movements left and right.

For what it's worth, I have always had a difficult time aligning a 3rd gen front bumper. Loosen the bumper to bracket bolts too for a little more adjustment especially for side to side.
