1034 light bulb

Maybe this has been asked before, I didn't find anything about them. 1034 bulbs go in the tail lights and front turn signal lights on my 68 charger. Can I use 1157/1156 bulbs? They want alot of money for these 1034's and not so much for 1157's. I haven't bought bulbs in a very long time so maybe I missed the 10'000 % markup.

1157s are the direct replacement for tail lights... althought some differences between them:

These differences will give you some wattage differences, but actually allmost unnapreciable
