Installed the quarter extensions and the shaved & shortened rear bumper.
Thanks
Pat

Did the quarter extensions fit or did you have to slice the quarters?

I would be interested in seeing how modified your bumper  :yesnod:

Don, Other then a few small panel repairs and trunk pan the car has all its original steel. The quarter extensions fit was good and with a little body work very good!
Below is a FB page on the bumper work.
Thank you!
Pat

Nice!  Where did you source the line separators in the fender well?  Will you be routing the electrical thru the fenderwells too?

They are made by a company called Stuff, see link below.
Yes all of the wires for the lights, fans, and horns will be run along with the hydroboost lines.
I removed the factory firewall plug-in harness and have a new route/hole just above the transmission for all of the engine wires.
Thanks
Pat

good GOD man that thing is gorgeous!!!!   maybe you can help me? I am almost done with my 69 charger and am down to the annoying small items that seem to take longer than the entire restoration.  for the interior upper windshield trim there are these clips (picture hopefully attached) but I can't figure out how they go back in for the trim to screw to??? appreciate if anyone has a photo or something that shows how they sit and what they may clip into?

You should find six square holes in between some of the spikes that hold the headliner in position. Then you use a pair of small pliers after you shove it into the square hole pinching the center clips together holding it in position.
Good luck
Thanks
Pat

Pat you are a life saver. I would never have guessed that positioning!  I'll try and post some photos of where I'm at with my project. I went through this entire series of your restoration and am completely in awe of your skills and attention to detail. Makes me wish I had taken even more time in my 16 year project. I went vintage air also.  Thank you again!

Only 1 spot for a temperature sender on this gen3 Hemi, and I need two, 1 for the fuel injection and 1 for the gauge. I had to remove a freeze plug and make a plate that I could drill for an additional temperature sender.

I also have all of the wiring set and ready to enter and pass through the firewall through a split grommet. This will allow all of the plug-in connectors to pass through a single 2 1/4" hole hidden just above the transmission.
Thanks
Pat

This is the most badass thing I've ever seen man, nice job!  Curious as to why you went Vintage Air instead of Classic?  I'm torn between the two, I apologive if you've addressed this already.  Thanks!

Matt,
No preference but I had installed a vintage air on my sons Bullitt mustang and was happy with the quality and installation.
Thank you

Pat is right about the position, but the metal on the repro ones I got were so hard and brittle that the little tabs, he talks about squeezing on, just broke off instead of gripping.  Where did you get yours Pat?  I ended up drilling a little hole thru the clip and the sheet metal and putting a tiny sheet metal screw in.  Never going to come out but you couldn't remove it without pulling the windshield.

Mitch, I was able to reuse my original clips. Doesn't surprise me that the repro's don't work as good as the originals
Thanks
