Yes & no, not good enough for body panels, but ok for a bunch of small parts like inner fender covers, fuel tank straps and bumper brackets.

You are clearly an expert in all things body work related.....but I still think is brave painting all these things separately. Never had any luck with painting big items (hoods, doors, trunk lids) off the car. Even if the colour is spot on every mix (I'm guessing with black you are only adding thinner rather then mixing colour ) the "finish" is always very slightly differing. With very slight different depths of shine and .....erm...not even sure of the word....it just looks different. I would also be scared of chipping paint on parts when assembling. Most would never spot it....but they are not as anal about it as me! I paint the interior and jams, hang the big parts and paint with the doors on (jams masked). I'm sure yours will be as perfect as the rest of your build though.

I'm no painting expert, far from it. I find as long as all of the paint is mixed in one large container and then put in individual gallons the color consistency is not a problem. This is extremely important with metallic paints. Panel assembly is a challenge, must use a lot of tape and take your time.
Thanks

There's my answer...you mix all your paint at once. The types of two pack paint I use would be a solid block a couple of hours after mixing!....sealed in a tub or not!
