Does anyone know if you can install the metal housings into the valence and then install the outer lens?  If so, I am having some clearance issues with mine.  I tried to just put in the housing so I can install the valance on the body, but my lenses will not fit through the circular hole.  I will be getting new repro lenses soon, but I wanted to get this put together so it's one less thing I have to worry about getting messed up during the move.  :shruggy:

Yes you can, hold the lens sideways, then slide into opening and twist.It will go right in. Hope this makes sense?

It does make sense.  I thought that may work, but it was a epvery tight fit when I tried it so I don't force because I didn't want to mess up the paint.
