Ok, so I got the Vectors (15x7 front) (15x8.5 rear) and I am going to have the rears widened to 15x10.5

so any suggestions on tire size for the rears?

myk

With a 10" rim I think you can install upwards of a 300mm wide tire; whether you want to go that big or not is up to you...

I too am looking to upgrade my tire size/wheel combo on my 75. What is the biggest, yet safe (no rubbing issues) can I go?

Just for my own curiousity, why do you want to run wider then an 8.5 out back. 275/60/15 fits beautifuly on them and if you want a 10" rim it would be cheaper to buy a set of 10" vectors then have yours modified. If you are not planning on tubbing the car then the 10" wheel will fit any tire that fits the stock wheel tubs.

15x8.5's with 275/60/15 tires. You can run the 295/50/15 on the same wheel but it looks better on the 10" rim imo.

I actually have been thinking about running a 295 and keeping a stock 8.5 rear, however the rear has been slightly widened and I can get a monster tire in there.

$200 per wheel to make them 15x10.5
I was thinking of running 295 50 15 on those or maybe 305 50 15?

can you take 3/4 shot of your car so I can see what your setup looks like c00nhunterjoe?

Nice, it was kind of hard to see the rear tires with all the smoke billowing out   :drool5:

Seeing as I have the room I think I'll wait on getting rims widened right now and go with 295/50/15 and 255/50/15 in front on the 7 inch rim.

If you are going that wide up front then i reccomend selling your 7's, put your 8.5's up front, and buy a pair of 10's for the rear.

I run 245/60's on the front of mine on 8.5" wheels.
