Does this trim just pop off when you pry on it (similar to the vinyl top trim pieces)?

Just 6T9 CHGR

You need a trim removal tool like this.....

Just used it a few mins ago to remove my lower windshield trim

The door trim pops off, think there is a nut on one end of it nearest the jamb, but the rest has spring clips that just pop off.  The rear quarter trim does NOT pop off, don't try or you'll damage it, have to get the door panels off and probably pull the quarter glass to get to the screws that hold it in from the window channel.  Windshield and rear glass trim all come off with a little prying, just be gentle while doing it and it comes off easy enough.  I used a putty knife to pull mine off, didn't need a trim tool to do it.  Just get one end up, then move your grip to where the clip likely is and pull up gently but firmly and it will come out.  Don't pull up only on one end or you may bend it, and don't scratch the paint unless you plan on refinishing it.  If using a large flat blade screwdriver, put something under it like a piece of vinyl, thin piece of wood or even a piece of posterboard to pry up with and you won't scratch the paint as you leverage it up, you only have to lift it about a half inch before the clip comes out.
