My addiction to Chargers began about 14 years ago when a guy in my Church gave me His 1973 Charger SE. I began to collect these 3rd gen Chargers and had around a dozen of them here in Vermont at one time. I thought the engine went bad in the SE, and I had found a 69 Mach One that I wanted so I decided to sell the Charger. Nobody wanted it with a bad engine, so I parted it out, and bought the Mustang. After enjoying the Mach for a few years, I decided to sell it and buy a brand new car. I looked at new Mustangs, but did not like the back seats being so small, especially to spend that much money, and have no room. I thought Mopar had lost their mind when they made a 4 door Charger, but it ended up being the perfect new car for me! Yes, 4 doors, but plenty of room, sporty, NICE! I love my 2012 Charger that I bought new, but the old car Fever just never seems to go away! I came across a 1970 Mercury Cougar that I traded some trucks for, and then traded the Cougar for....YES....a 1973 Dodge Charger! The Charger has a 440 and sounds GREAT! Then I found another 73 Charger with a 318 4V that also sounds great, and traded for it! So, now I drive my 2012, and I have listed the (2) 73 Cars for sale, planning to sell which ever one I find a cash buyer for first, and keeping the other car for my own again to drive to cruise nights, etc! Charger Fever...gets in your blood! one of the guys in my Church told me: "Pastor, I think you have 30 weight oil for blood!" Nothin' like the classics....Love the Chargers! I have the 73 cars listed under cars for sale here on DC.Com! I am looking forward to working on my 73 and getting back into the "game"!
