Does anyone have a Line Loc on their Charger? I was toying with putting one on my '69 (4 speed). Where did you mount the button? Can you post a picture or two?

I thought a line Loc only went on an automatic transmission! Can't imagine how it would work on a 4 speed!

A friend of mine has a line lock on his 87 Mustang with a 6-speed tranny and the button is on the shifter just under the shifter knob and he holds it in with his index finger. Seems to work good. I have my switch to the right of my steering wheel because I didn't want to drill into the stock console or mess with the slap stik shifter.

I had one on a 4 speed 68 Camaro , it was mounted on the shifter, it had a spring return switch so the line lock switch had to be held on to remain engaged.

Not that it applies to your situation but I epoxied mine to the front vertical portion of my slap stik shifter.

I've always put them on the front of the shifter handle as well.

Depending on your 4 speed shifter handle, Hurst makes a t-handle with line lock button built in. You hold it in with your thumb, spring loaded, let off and away you go. This will not work with a Pistol Grip shifter.

dual fours

Line lock / Roll control / Hill holder same thing, automatic / manual works on both.
Which wheels, front or rear will you lock up?
Yep on the shifter shaft below the knob front side of shaft, easy to hold in with right index finger, or the Hurst T-handle does look cool.
My button has a red dash light showing that electric current is working and solenoid it closed, if the red light don't light it won't work, or the bulb is burned out.
I do like horizontal handles better then vertical handles, just feels better to me.

kinda tough to do on an Inland shifter as well...I was just thinking about this the other day...
