There have always been clueless drivers, but it just seems to me that fewer and fewer people know, understand, or comply with this unwritten rule of the road (sometimes it IS written). Even in driver's ed they taught us about moving to the right and flashing the high beams to slow pokes parked in the "passing lane".

I can only guess that they're just "passing out" driver's licenses these days.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but back in the day you really had to "earn" that piece of plastic.  Case in point?  My friendly neighbors, a couple from Ethiopa,  have no place working a toaster, let alone a motor vehicle, but someone, somewhere gave them licenses to drive.  They've hit the Charger twice since they've moved in.  No offense to anyone, but... :RantExplode:

They hit your car twice?

Surprised that we aren't reading about you in the papers for assault.  I know I'd feel like assaulting someone.....no matter how 'friendly' they are.

:iagree:  Left lane is the fast lane.  Right lane is the slower lane.  Those are the basic rules of the road!  :2thumbs:
In Texas it is called the "passing" lane, therefore it is a faster lane. But you just can't explain that to some folk.

Last weekend we went to Newport Beach, from Phoenix. I use my driving method of stay to the right, except to pass. We flew up to Newport. Passing cars like crazy while all the trolls are lined up behind each other in the laft lanes. It's like they never read the driving manuals.

Since I'm not prejudiced, I never judge the gender of the woman driving 60 in the left lane.  :smilielol:
