Need shifter rod. Anyone know where to get one?

The head on the swivel that connects to the transmission gear selector broke off. So I either need to know where I can get swivel 19-48-16 or the whole rod assembly with the swivel. I've searched the internet, but I'm not sure what else to call it besides sifter linkage. Also if you know of a cable kit that will work in it's place I would rather use that. I'm not looking for a kick down cable. I'm looking for the rod/assembly that connects the rod coming from the floor shifter to the actual gear selector. Any help on locating one would be greatly appreciated.

It's really hard to read, but it's the rod/swivel in the picture below.

Thanks!

Thanks for the info man.  We are hoping to just get a replacement rod. We have so many projects as it is... we rebuilt the engine, broke the tranny, rebuilt the tranny, tore the entire suspension and kframe out and we are in the process of replacing all of that. We tore all the A/C and Powe steering parts out and switched to manual steering. Lastly we still need to run wires for a truck mounted battery that isn't mounted yet. Mind you that we haven't even gotten the chance to start the car with the newly rebuilt tranny so we could have screwed that up and don't know it yet. So we are trying to just replace for right now and then work from there.  We will have to keep looking for other options for now.

Thank you!

I built linkages with heim joints. I took a 1/4" steel rod, threaded it, then used 1/4" heim joints on the ends. It is fully adjustable and very smooth. Worked great and was inexpensive. I spent months looking for some of the same parts as you, then just decided to purchase the parts. The whole assembly was under $20 in parts and works extremely well.

I did the same as Terry , helm joints , bent a piece of rod to fit,
Threaded the ends, fitted the helm joints, smooth as ,
Got frustrated searching for original rods for ever

I guess I wasn't thinking about making a rod since I didn't know if it needed to be built with all those bends. A new rod with hemi joints would definitely work and probably get rid of my issues with my tti headers. Thanks for the help guys!

Speedway motors has a good selection of them... I think these are the ones I used:

I had to thread a 1/4" rod as these are a fine thread. I could only find course pre-threaded rods.

Hope this helps.
