I have taken a strong flash light around the part front and back no pin opening

just four crimps where it locks on a collar

Do you mean the lock wheel? Is a pin... The wheel gets a collar ( like a bushing ) over to protect the pin from being loosen

Will stop by tomorrow where it is stored and take pictures and post them

Check number 11... Is the sleeve/collar I'm talking about. It has some depresions around to put pressure over the lock wheel and keep in place.

Nacho you hit the head right on

There is a keeper that looked as it was part of the steering lock

Just pried it off with a sharp screwdriver and a love tap from a hammer and it popped off

Thanks
