Anybody know of a good site to buy the parking-emergency brake light socket that pushes into the dash? Mine is worn out and keeps falling out. Still working on the headlight switch cover, have to work all the time so not much time for the car.

Those always fall out.  I believe auto parts stores may even carry these.  Try bending the tabs out first.  It's spring steel so it may work.  Just grab each tab at the base with needle nose pliers and slightly bend them outward.  Do each and the socket will be nice and tight again.

This has what looks like plastic tabs on the side, so any bending or pulling might be the end. Went to the auto parts store yesterday and all they had were sockets for like side marker lights, and just a single wire coming out. This one has 2 wires. Any after market sites that might sell something?

While you're search for a suitable replacement get some of that adhesive backed aluminum tape HVAC installers use
to seal heating and air conditioning units. A couple small pieces on the tabs just might do the trick.

This tape is very handy to have around the house and shop too. Sorta like gaffers tape (aka duct tape) .......
lots of uses.

Plastic?  I'll have to check my car later on since I have the cluster out.

Finally got some time to try the HVAC tape, worked great. Still looking for a socket that will work but for now were back in business. Thanks.
