Can someone help me ID this part for a 1969 Charger SE/RT? I have two of them. Part #3440 428[429]-82750.

the casting number doesn't met the 69 year... IF thats a PN and not an special code

69 PNs usually are 28xxxxx or 29xxxxx... it can be 25, 26, 27 too if they are shared part with earlier production cars

34xxxxx PN seems to be 71-74 PN

Thanks for the quick get back. I'm putting the doors together and didn't want to leave out any parts. If anyone can tell me what they are from I would just be curious to know.

Going on a limb here, but it looks like the white plastic slider that is found at the base of the stainless end molding on the door glass. It is spring loaded, and that little "tab" on your part might be where the clip engages.
Do you have a pic of the opposite side of this part?

Here's two more photos bill440rt. I hope they help.

Yep, looks like them.
Check out this pic. See the little white wedge at the bottom of the door glass molding? That's what it looks like to me.
Check out your side glass to see if they are missing.

Hey Bill, I have to go to the well of knowledge again. Hind sight is always 20/20. After you told me where the part goes the light went on and I see what the wedge goes against in the rear run. Photo attached to possibly help others. The next question is what holds the wedge to the division bar? I see the narrow slot in the stainless. Also, the new ,felt covered, rubber that lines the division bar has one end of it capped off and the other end is open. which end goes up?

bill440rt

The capped off end of the glass end seal goes up top.  :yesnod:

I'd have to look again at a piece of spare glass I have, but IIRC the plastic wedge slides into the bar & is held in place by a spring. I think I just used a generic spring from the local hardware store to repair mine. It's been a while. The "well" might be getting a little dry.   :2thumbs:
