So, my buddy has known of this 68 hemi Cuda for 32 years and finally was able to buy it with his friend. Here is the link to him pulling it out of the garage last summer.

I used to own a mopar because it was different, but now I know better.

Ha! Could you do me a favor and trade him the VIN for his list of Charger 500's he supposedly won't share?

:yesnod: yeah  :iagree: :iagree:   if I had the list of C500 vins  !!  first thing I would want to do with it , is share it with my Buddies on dodgecharger.com , then all the mopar aero websites & C500 fans & owners  :yesnod:

IMO out of order keeping stuff like that to your self , when there are soo many diehard mopar fans & charger 500 owners would love to know this stuff  &  knowing all the vins , would be a real asset to the hobby & to future generations of charger / mopar fans  :Twocents:

Thinkin the same thing, although I wouldn't call it the most awesome Cuda ever. That is reserved for the 1970 model, triple black, with hemi and 4speed. It also should be called 'barracuda' instead of Cuda.. If it is the real deal, should be no problem shutting down all the haters.
if it ain't,  then they aren't 'haters', they are truth seekers. Lol @ one comment...."Street legal version pulled 1500 HP, get one right off the show room floor"..what a ree ree.  If nobody understands the Bullsh*t surrounding the hemi I refer to, THIS COMMENT is proof. While the 426 hemi was a great set up in it's day on the street, there are the low info people who do try and make it sound even better by ad-libbing.

Everybody who is informed knows these race Hemi barracudas and Darts were NOT STREET LEGAL AND DID NOT CONFORM TO DOT REGULATIONS.

Yeah, no kidding! Out of all the members here how many have publicly posted their VIN(s)? And most don't have anything nearly as rare as a Hemi Barracuda! Ditto for Moparts. Can't anyone just be excited/happy for the guy? Or at least for the car?

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Of course not.   ::)  If someone manages a slice of happiness then the world just has to take a dump on them out of jealous spite.

I'd sooner post my social security number, address and bank card numbers as I would my vehicle VIN.  I would dare to say that anyone who would post their VIN publicly is extremely foolish and/or asking for trouble...

Ghoste

It'd still be a good trade for him to share it with GG in exchange for "the list".

bill440rt

Anyone have a link to this Moparts thread debacle. I can only imagine...  ::)
