Hey ya'll. Curious, the valve covers on my 426 hemi are in good shape in regards to the crinkled finish, but needs freshening up a wee bit. Inlew of getting them completely re-powercoated, what paint good I use to freshen them up?

Thanks in advance...

It's pretty hard to freshen them without completely stripping the old paint. I've had good results with rattle can wrinkle paint, the trick is heat...put them in the oven at 200 to assure good wrinkle.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Actually , I used to always to the heat thing too. Last time I did a set I used the VHT wrinkle paint and followed their directions and they said to leave it be and the wrinked awesomely. As for the stripping , yes ,strip them.
