There's an extra zero on his price that shouldn't be there.

"I forgot to add that I never got the title transferred over from the previous owner. I guess it would need to be sold with a bill of sale. I'm new to Arizona and not familiar with the regulations, but apparently you can't transfer a title unless you register the vehicle, and since I wasn't registering it I never got around to it."

I purchased a 1970 Challenger RT/SE in California without a title many years ago.....what a pain it was getting it registered.  A lot of leg work and a lot of phone calls later I finally got the piece of paper in my hand.  After that I swore I would never buy a car without a proper title.  Just a word to the wise....

By the way, having said that, I live down the road from this individual if someone is interested in the car....It does look like an interesting project...

Wow wing car sounds like a major headache don't think I would do such things based on what u said, wow.

I never knew one could sell a car with someone's else's name on title to begin with.

Its a rare "NWEPORT" ...I can't stand stupid people who can't spell.  :flame:

JB400

I think it was just a matter of not proof reading.

TUFCAT

NO, its more than that...its called stupidity because only stupid people don't proof read!!!...Especially important stuff like the title of their For Sale thread.  I may not always proof read my instant message or quick texts, but I always make the effort to proof read things I send out for public consumption. :Twocents:

"There is rust in the usual places"  Does that mean everywhere.  How can this be considered to be a future rat rod. ?

Let's be clear here.  He doesn't own it.  He has never owned it in the eyes of the authorities.

Somebody in one of the other 49 states is the owner.  I wouldn't touch it for even $1.
