And John Mayer brought back the solo???  Seriously the guy that sings "wonderland"  Guess they don't listen to any Black Label Society, Mastodon, Five finger death punch just to name a few.... John Mayer though..

First solo I ever learned/hacked was the one in "Time" by 'Floyd; stuff like that doesn't really happen anymore.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong-I don't really get out much...

I think the John Mayer reference might have been tongue in cheek. When I hear "guitar God" I don't think of John Mayer, either.
