Quick question regarding 3rd gen front clips

Just thinking out loud. For obvious reasons (to me) the 73-74 Roadrunners are a fair amount cheaper than the 71-72 Roadrunners so I've been wondering about the possibility of doing a facelift on a 73-74 with a mixture of 71-72 front clip parts. Does AMD make fenders for those? While I'm asking, has anyone ever done/seen a 71-72 Roadrunner clip on a 3rd gen Charger? Is it even possible?

The body lines are slightly different from the 71/72 to the 73/74. You may have to change the doors as well. Not sure if the inner structures are the same, but I would think that they are.

I see. :scratchchin: And I suppose there's no way to modify the grill/headlight area to accomplish the same thing. :shruggy: Well, it was worth asking I guess.

I'd bet that the entire nose would swap without any trouble so the grille & other parts wouldn't matter. Swap the nose, the doors & the quarters & you'll start to need a 71/72 rust free parts car.

I've seen a '69 Charger nose on a '69 Super Bee. It didn't have the same lines but it fit on the car perfectly. The '69 Satellite I have has a '70 GTX nose on it, but it's a lot less of an issue with body lines.
