Hi, my names Stuart and I'm in the Uk.
I haven't got a Charger, yet, but I'm interested in a 72 Charger rallye.
They aren't that common over here and I'm going to have to travel a fair way to see it.
The main problem I have is that I have some problems with my mobility. I'll have to have hand controls fitted for the brakes/accelerator but I can't see a problem there.
I've sat in a 72 Roadrunner but never in a Charger. Can someone be really helpful and measure the size of the door opening so I can see if I can get in OK with out wasting most of the day travelling to view the rallye and wasting the time of the guy selling it. I've searched the internet with no luck so far.
Thanks

Welcome Stuart.  RR and Charger are fairly similar.  If you can get into the RR, Charger shouldn't be an issue.

Dealership data books can give you some comparisons as well.

What a fantastic site. I must have looked at 100s of pages about Chargers but never seen one as detailed as this.
Thanks

Hey Stuart, welcome.  And yeah, if you fit the Road Runner you will fit the Charger.

Thanks for the warm welcome Guys. I spent a happy hour or two last night looking through your site- luckily the Wife was busy working on her lap top and the kids had gone to bed.
Happy days :icon_smile_big:

one thing i noticed was that there were a couple of posts where hand controls were mentioned, but it looked like the members hadn't been here for a while. Does anyone have any advice re fitting or experiences with hand contols in B bodies?
