On the panels that attach to the lower half of the doors and also the panels in the back which the arm rests go through. Which trim clip do I use? There were three like the one on the right stuck in the holes for the back panels. The doors already had all the interior panels removed when I got the car.

I've seen both used, but I would use the one on the right for door boards ,
They will sit flat on the board better than the wire ones,
The wires are what's used for top pads to doors

not sure if this is any help ,  mine was an original 63k mile car , door / trim panels had never previously been off ,  had a combination of both clips , remember thinking  seems odd  :shruggy:

I checked the interior from the 72 Charger I parted out. The wire ones were used on the plastic panels which are the lower panels. The other was used on the steel upper panels that had the vinyl material on them.

TT- That is an odd mix of fasteners on the door

Yes, use the ones on the right, the "B" clips. They'll go in much easier and prevent marking up the outside of the panel.
Also, if you ever have to remove the trim panel they won't tear the inside backer board like the wire clips will.

I agree with Bill, go with the B Clips. Got my car with only one of the new interior panels installed. The wire clips were mixed with the "flat" B ones. Where the wire clips was the backer board was compromised. The B clips also allow the panel to be removed much easier without damage.... :Twocents:

Moparparts

This info is correct the way the factory installed them..
