Ordered a denso alternator bracket on the 23rd and no emails since then?  Out of business?

Way back in the old days, we used to pick up the phone and talk to people, may be worth a shot  :icon_smile_big:

Mancini is a great company, I'd give em a call and see what's up. Could just be slow from the holidays or the shitty weather they are getting. Or the item is out of stock?   :shruggy:

Holidays and hang overs! Across the board orders, shipping and checking emails pile up. Add a blizzard and holiday vacations to things and you get bogged down in the system. (Remember I urged you to call and talk to them prior to putting money down.) Mancini is A-#1 no worry, I found it was always best to call my orders in as sometimes exact details of the what, when and how much were not clear.  :scratchchin: I get ants in my pants when it comes to plopping down Charger Cash!

Yes you are right, but we arent in 1970 no more. If you offer an online service with mail correspondence you should answer to it.

I did that once and they were not helpful at all ( regarding their Street Hemi intake package ).......  I did get contacted by someone afterwards, but nothing ever seemed to happen........

I typically buy from Mancini at shows where I can put my hands on the product and carry it home. Their website, ordering process, and communication leaves a LOT to be desired. My biggest complaint is back orders. They never really tell you that your item isn't in stock or that it may not ever ship at all. If you order two items and only one is back ordered then you'll see a note on the packing slip of the one that does ship that says if your other item doesn't ship withing 90 days that it will be canceled. Otherwise you get nothing. My other issues is shipping charges. How is it that they can't manage to calculate shipping. I worked in mail order in high school and we had it figured out then. In this day and age all the major shippers have software services that can be embedded in the web site to get you an exact amount.

I am happy with everything I've ever purchased and their prices are generally very good. I just like to be aware of what is going on with the stuff I paid for!

Next time, give JEG'S a try.  I have used them for numerous orders and have always been pleased with their fast shipping and communication.

I live in Ohio so I get socked with tax AND shipping if I order from either Jeg's or Summit. I try to support Mancini because they are Mopar specific and have packages that work. They aren't perfect but I typically don't have any complaints. Jeg's and Summit have always been good when I've used them.

I don't typically have a phone at work but I do sit in front of a computer nearly all day. Making a phone call is way more inconvenient than an email or ordering online (not to mention I can do those in the middle of the night when I finally get home). It's simple, if you can't manage to communicate via email then DON'T have it as an option for your customers. With a little programming wizardry most customer questions could be answered without a person.

I can understand about having to pay tax on an item or, even shipping.  My last couple of purchases, because I live in SE Texas, were tax-free and 2 were even free shipping.

My wheel and tire package came from them ( Custom one-piece forged aluminum with 4.5" stud-pattern) Cragar SS with BFG T/A on the front and Nitto Extreme Drag Radials on the rear) as they were considerably cheaper than the competition to begin with and offered mounting. balancing and shipping (which each wheel was individually wrapped carefully and safely) by UPS ground for $39.00 total!  They arrived in excellent shape within 3 days of being shipped!

During my restoration, I bought a few items from Mancini and was always happy with the shipping and communication. I will say I was always emailed a tracking number and had no problems concerning where my order might be.

AS a side note, my wheels had to be custom ordered from Cragar by JEG'S but they showed that on their website.  I phoned them and discussed my order and the mounting and balancing. Everything was done within the stated time-frame (2 weeks) they initially gave me. The phone contact fellow was even kind enough to help me find some left-handed thread crown nuts that would work on my Charger as it still has the left-hand thread studs on one side and Cragar does not make them! They shipped them to me BEFORE the wheels were shipped and had free shipping on them also!

Call them and ask for Wes.  He may be to the point but he generally is on top of whatever is going on around there.

I hate that place. They are local & the only Mopar place around & I never go there anymore. Been there several times many, many years ago. Bad help or service everytime. The Mancini's sold that business name out along time ago & whoever now just runs it to keep the name/rep going. Last time I did go there one of my buddies did get frame connectors & roll cage for free. They forgot to charge him. He didn't even tell me until we got back to his house. Cool for him but I never had any success there.

I'm still waiting for Mancini to get back to me on that alternator.  It's been since before summer so I guess I can quit waiting.

I like Jegs, all shipping is free.  Summit has lost a lot of my business because of it.

I ordered from Classic industries on 12/31 and my package is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, which during these days is not bad.  No communication for several days though!

I know we were closed Dec 23rd to Jan 6th for Christmas, New Years, and inventory in between. Then we got hit Monday & Tuesday with the coldest weather in 20 years, and many businesses around here were closed. We just now are catching up (Jan 8th) so don't be too hard on them. The last 2 weeks for us have been unusually interrupted...

I NEVER EVER GOT A REPLY FROM MANCINI VIA EMAIL when I ordered, or request for info... yes they have a phone, but some of us are NOT IN USA!!!

that gets me angry! we are in XXI century!!! if you sell via web, USE THE FULL WEB SERVICE... if not, get out of the web and use magazine advertisings like the old days when just the phone and mail were available

Same here, if you don't support brand specific shops, they will not be around long. I take some pride in using them and for me they end up being slightly cheaper or the same in price. Is saving a couple bucks shopping at the wally worlds of speed parts worth killing an independent MOPAR only shop?

I live in Ohio also but if Mancini has it I will use them.

I've never had an issue that I can recall dealing with Mancini or Jeg's over the years. I had an issue with Summit once (they sent me the wrong item), but sent me a return slip for the wrong item & promptly sent the correct item at no cost of course.

BTW, walking out of Mancini with a free roll cage and frame connectors while bad mouthing them seems just a bit odd. Just sayin'.

I also haven't had any replies to two emails sent to two different people at Mancini's. A parts order arrived a week before Xmas and was missing some small items that should have been in the order. I emailed them within a couple of days & haven't had any reply at this stage. It's a PITA to ring them from my end due to to the time difference. I have been giving them some slack due to the holiday break & the extreme weather you guys have been hit with, hopefully I hear from them soon!
Cheers Brad
