69 GTX - Best trunk weather stripping out there next to NOS

Well, we are at the stage of the work on our 1969 GTX convertible where we are almost done painting the door jambs and trunk jamb from when the previous owner repainted the exterior of the car only in the original color and never painted the door and trunk jambs.  I guess from 44 years of being on there the original paint faded slightly or the new paint was a shade or two off than what was there originally.  Regardless, the original trunk weather stripping is in nice shape but the bottom edge of it is starting to come apart and looks nasty compared to what the end result of the car will be.  I would prefer to put an NOS one back on there but at the same time, I also know they are not the easiest to come by.  With that in mind and in the event that I can not find one, who makes the most correct appearing / fitting trunk weather stripping on the market today?

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Brian, if it helps you any I installed a repro on my '69 from Metro. It was way more correct than previous reproductions (maybe they changed the design or something?), and had a return "lip" around the edge like the originals do.
Not sure about B-bodies, but the last Charger NOS trunk weatherstrip I saw sold for about $1K.   :scared:    No thanks.

Yeh, that little lip is coming off of the one on Dad's GTX and the thing looks like a porous sponge vs. how the top of it is nice and smooth looking.  I'd sure love to find an original one since all of the weather stripping is original on this car still and in excellent condition with no dry rot or cracking.  This is the only piece that really needs to be replace and all things considered, it isn't that bad, just not that appealing to the eye.

At a fraction of the price, the Metro one is worth picking up. If you don't like it, don't use it. I was very happy with it, and will probably pick up two more when the time comes for the other cars.
I don't think the part number on the originals is visible once it's installed, either.  :scratchchin:

Bill,  I might have to go that route and see if I can somehow make a silicone mold of the part number and transfer it over somehow.   :scratchchin:  The part number is visible though.
