Chris G.

George Thorogood and The Destroyers....Pick a song and run with it.  :yesnod:

I have the AM/FM factory radio, so it's rare to find a tune that makes me want to go. I need to carry that small cd boom box with me again.

694spdRT

"East Bound and Down" has almost got me in trouble several times in my '77 T/A. I want to get the soundtrack to the original "Vanishing Point" too.

The AM radio in the Charger has never given me much to gun it over though....the glasspacks took care of that back in High School.

Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

Even though, I don't have a General Lee Charger and I only have the usual AM radio installed (that will all change this summer, but that's another thread).....

I would imagine while driving the Charger, the opening Lyrics to "The General Lee" by Johnny Cash could not be played without some acceleration...

I'm a charger
That charges through the night
Like an orange bolt of lightning
Passing everything in sight

Other than that....
Lots of Johnny Cash and Elvis will be blaring from the ol' B-body this summer.

:iagree:  Elvis & Cash got to love them.
Dragula if you really want to get it going  :drive:

HAZZARDJOHN

I second or third the Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash stuff. but For just Cruising, King George Strait. and for gas pounding, "Ain't going down till the sun Comes up, By Garth. or "drinking My Baby Goodbye" By Charlie Daniels (Or any Charlie daniels dong for that matter).  Life is a highway By Chris LeDoux, as well as any Ledoux song. ;) Chris was the man as far as this Good ole boy is concerned! ;D

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't fix your brakes, but don't worry I made your horn louder."
