66 Charger dash lights

Merry new year to all!
Powdered "donuts" in a snowy parking lot for everyone!
The dash lights "power pack" was tested OK.    (or is it "Power trak pak"?)
The lights come on and then mysteriously go out.
Any advice will be appreciated mightily.

Bad ground or loose connection somewhere.  The dash lights on the 1st gens are wired in series so if one goes out, they all go down.

bad headlight switch, a needle in the dash shorting out, of the radio needle going bad. How did the power pack for dash lights get tested? When cold, it may work fine, when warmed up, they will slowly fade out the dash lights.

no such thing as a "Power trak pak" for Charger...what are you referring to with this?
