this year with the way things are, and wanting to redo the kitchen, we sat down and decided to only fill a stocking for each other. no other presents will be exchanged in the holiday season. this way any money saved can go toward the kitchen.

            so..................i picked my stocking accordingly.

My wife & daughter picked up a small, real tree last night when they were out. I don't know why they didn't want to reuse the same one from the last 2 years. It's right behind the garage in the woods & some of the needles are still on it.

I am sooo Bah Humbug this year!  And it sucks cuz Christmas is usually my favorite holiday. Haven't shopped, decorated,...nothing. Just cant get into it this year. Cant wait for January.

Well, Mrs. Thomas, I may have to send a Christmas card your way on Deadwood Lane...after I take the pic this coming weekend when we venture up into the Santa Cruz mountains to cut it down.
