The last one that meant this much, was 2001. First one after a very messy divorce, my four kids safely in my custody, was special.

This year, my oldest grandson, 10, is now safely in my sons custody. Youngest grandchild, born Monday is here. All 5 grand children.......are here, so it's a bit loud. :yesnod:

Love it. :2thumbs:

And the best thing about being a grandparent? After I spoil them, they go home. :icon_smile_big:

Happy thanksgiving to all.  :yesnod:

Sound like you're livin' the dream!  Something I will never have . . . at 50 and no kids . . . quiet here.   :shruggy:
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

Well.....at the moment.....the only granddaughter, just thru a royal princess style fit. Quiet does have it's advantages. :yesnod:

I MISS BABIES! There i said it. And NO, not having any more!  My uterus is locked up like lock Fort Nocks!   :2thumbs: My 2 kids, are enough to give me a heart attact! Blessings on the new baby! I do miss the new baby smell. Kinda like a new Chally, but with fuzz on top!  :smilielol:

Thanks......and now.....some quiet....... :yesnod:

Oh yeah, it's great to roll around on the floor with a couple of 3 year olds......for a while. Now.....I'm exhausted.

The smallest one was really great. Perfectly behaved. That won't last long. I know better. The  is only temporary.

The oldest, is the one I feel the most strongly about. Suspected something was not right for some time....no proof. On June 12, his teacher found it, and every single person in the chain, so to speak, from the first teacher, school nurse, police, child protection, a couple of caring lawyers, a good judge.......a little boy is safe now. Despite the efforts of one bottom feeding scum sucking attorney. The system worked. :2thumbs:

I really don't care that I have little money......things are very tight right now.....but the family is going to be all right. Stuff is just stuff, family is more important.

A good thanksgiving to all and hope your families are good.  :yesnod:

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

Thanks. Sometimes it takes an unusual event to really put things into perspective.

Fred, your right, everything that is important is good. :2thumbs:

One thing my kids are doing, at least so far, as my daughters have not had kids yet, is the middle name has a family connection. This one, goes a bit farther......he's named after my brother[never had children] and his middle name is after me. Surprising, they must think more of me then I thought.

At least none have gone with a name from a music/movie/sports star. Or the cool name of the week.  :icon_smile_big:
Family is important, they seem to realize that. :yesnod:

Or maybe they just like teddy bears.   :smilielol:  (unless they went with dyslexic)

Thanks.....

Pics......I'm not exactly proficient with uploading stuff....ahhh, think opposite of computer genius.

My lady does this every time I say this :slap: Looks like a baby, you know, they all look pretty much alike. I get really interested when they are big enough to stop drooling and wrestle on the floor....then I can start to think about teaching them to hand me wrenches. :yesnod:

Seriously, I've got to learn how to upload pics. My kids show me.....but so fast, the process doesn't take. Planning on getting a decent camera and figure it out. I'll need that when I start my next project.

I think that's when most men start to like them.   :yesnod:

I'm still trying to train the lady to hand me wrenches.
