68 RT base price

In the documents I have, the base price for the 68 RT is listed as $3480. However, at some point in late 67 the base price was adjusted to $3506

Does anyone know approximately what date that price was changed?

thats odd my car is NON R/T and my price it was bought for was 3800 something dollars back in early 68 with a build date of 12/7/67.

Does that include the options and destination charge?  I don't have it off hand, but the base price for the non RT was a little over 3 grand.

As I mentioned on another thread, I'm getting my window sticker done. My docs say the base price for the RT was $3480. On his write up for the sticker he had it at $3506

He went thru some info and all the cars built in 1968 had a base of 3506, and he even has evidence of a mid-December 67 car with that price.

However, my car is a mid-November car so we don't know when Dodge upped the price, and I'd obviously not like my sticker to be incorrect.  I've tried to search it and I can find both numbers as the base price, but no info as to when it changed.

If anyone has info on this, please let me know.

You have to take into account that maybe the salesman might have cut the buyer a deal and knocked some off the sticker price . Only suckers pay sticker price . Then and now .

Yeah, im sure each guy negotiated his own price, but for the purposes of the window sticker there should be one fixed base price. What makes it complicated here is that sometime between the launch of the 68 RT and mid-December of 67 they upped the base price from $3480 to $3506, and in order to have the correct price on my sticker I need to know when they made the switch as my car was manufactured in November of 67
