I currently parting out a 1966 Coronet. it is 4 door with the 440 trim package. it has a poly head 318 and a small block 727 with a column shift. I want to sell this and want to advertise it correctly. Can anyone tell me what years of cars I can advertise that it will work for? also will it work for console shift cars or do I need a different rod for that. Thanks guys for any help. I am trying to fund getting my 68 charger on the road. Also what is it worth?

I am not sure if it will work for you. I don't want to sell it until I know what it will work for. I am also trying to find out if I can use it for my 68 Charger. Anyone know the answer to that? my 68 has a 440 727 auto floor shift. I think it will work except I think I will need to find the one rod for the floor shift and not use the column shift rod. Anyone know if I am correct?????

Hi guys! I'm working on my charger 69 383 with 727 trans, I was underneath my car getting my motor back in and noticed the lower transmission rod is missing the clip and I've tried looking as a general search and I can't find it anywhere however I found the clip from the trans linkage but not for the linkage from the carb to the trans.. I was wondering how hard it would be to manufacture the clip or if I'm searching for the wrong part and if it can be made I guess I could use a pic of one.. Sorry for jumping in but I'm not quite sure how to use these forums just yet.. Thanks guys your awesome!

Well guess it sounds like I broke the trans pump... I had no idea those things were so brittle.. Guess I'll be taking my transmission back out for the fourth time

ok I dont have any linkage on my 68. can anyone tell me if this will work for a 68 440 auto on the floor.  I know I will need a diffrent bracket for the floor shifter and I wont use the colum shifter rod but will the rest wwork for 727 big block transmission?

We spoke about this before on another site a while ago maybe you forgot. The column automatic shift linkage parts will not work for a console shift automatic they are different linkages and the poly kick down linkage is different than a 440 kick down. Here is a link to a console automatic set up so you can see what the pieces should look like. I hope this helps http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-Console-Floor-Shifter-Kit-1970-B-Body-70-Charger-Coronet-RoadRunner-GTX-/200978139364?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ecb3b08e4

BTW the column shift linkage you are showing will only fit a 66-70 B-Body it will not fit 71 and up correctly
