Here's the vin the car was sold originally from these guys Normadin Chrysler Jeep in San Jose..     who supposedly did the dealer AAR for the son of richy rich.

Pretty sure this production date on the sticker was well ahead of any AARs or TAs.

Not to mention the plant coded never made any AAR's. This is a 100% non-issue - never happened, never made.

I think Jensens came with a 383 6-pack.

jensens only came with factory engines the 6 packs were 440's

And did any of the Jensens get 440-6's?

For 1971, two 440 c.i. engines were offered. One had a 4-barrel carburetor and it produced 305 hp SAE net. The other, which had three 2-barrel carburetors and produced 330 hp SAE net, was only available in 1971. Only 232 cars were built with the 440 Six Pak, and had the distinction of being the most powerful car ever to have been made by Jensen.

I know of a guy that has a couple 6-pack Jensens. he has about 50-60 cars scattered around his property out-buildings. (in my area of the country that's not too common)

real funky stuff too. his father was a Packard Dealer.

(Jensens) are not real expensive , least his weren't. He deals on ebay and he was trying to sell me a six pack set up some years ago. I thought he said it was off a 383.

What 383 ever came with a 6 pack....None, or so I believe. :scratchchin:

Ghoste

None.  In Chrysler the 440 and the 340 only.

A383Wing

there was an aftermarket aluminum 6 pack intake available for the 383, but it was never offered as an option or built by Chrysler

This post is just another example of buyer beware and a reminder to do your homework before buying.  If you don't you and your money will soon be parted and what you purchased will not be what you thought it was.  Too many people are lazy and will just ask a question on a site (any site) and then assume that those giving their opinions are experts on the subject.  This is a good way to get screwed.  While there are many on this and other sites that really know their stiff...some are just repeating what they have heard or read in the past.  And, by the way just because it was printed in a magazine years ago doesn't mean its true...example; How many times did magazines back in the day state that the Daytona and Superbirds had fiberglass noses.    Asking the question on a site is a good start but it doesn't mean you are finished researching the issue.
